Feeling Glam in Winter

Hello loves! This snowy and very cold weather, has finally given me an excuse to blog about one of my many coats! As a Vintage lovin' girl I'm a fan of Fur Coats, yes they keep you very warm but they just look so glamorous also! 
This Coat is one of two that my Grandma's friend kindly gave to me, as they once belonged to her Mother. I find it so flattering when I get given such gifts that have been passed down through generations - I plan to do the same. I was told that both Coats had been hand made in India and date back to the 1930s! 
I wanted to wear something dainty with this coat today so I picked a Vintage inspired lace dress from Topshop.

The Lipstick I'm wearing is shade 'Chili' by Max Factor.

    Lovely coats, I have a vintage brown coat from my nan, and a black fur coat (which is my ultimate favourite!) which was my mums in the 80s/90s.

    Its such a good idea to pass clothes down :)

    such a great 30s coat. today i tried do get my hands on a long 30s fur coat on ebay .... i missed it by 2€s!!!
    but i do have my lovely fur coat and a great escada cape from my granny. these two pieces are adorable.

    Just stopping by to say I love your blog! I'm a big fan of anything vintage (also in the UK yay!) and I've just set up a blog to try and write about my love of old things :) My hair has been needing something doing to it for a while, I recently cut myself a short fringe and I'm now wondering whether to go back to black (been red for so long!) and get it cut shorter because curls just don't stay in my hair anymore! Are you glad you cut your hair?
